Basic Drawing

First assignment given was to draw lines without using rulers .

Then measure using the pencil and eye coordination. The actual image was on a projector screen and we had to transfer the same image onto A3 sized paper.

Second assignment is to do different kinds of shadings on shapes to create an illusion of 3D image by creating a form.
Different kind of shadings.

 Practices.

 Bigger shapes.

Third assignment is to study natural life like animals or fruit (etc) and study it in different angles.
Then a composition drawing of something. Lastly , figure drawing of a classmate during class.
I went outside of class to search for birds and I saw a bird nest on top of a tree near the forest. Pictures were very very blurry and the bird would fly away when i took out my phone so I only drew right away after observing them.
My plant
 A dessert plate.
Brian , my classmate. The angle of the photo is odd but the leg is still wrong anatomy.

Fourth assignment is to do continuous line drawing without lifting up the pen. Most of the time I went around the same lines because I didn't like going across the image so it looks quite messy.Followed by a gesture drawing in class.
My hand in different poses. I think I improved and I liked using objects afterwards because it felt like the hand would hold objects in a natural way.

Faces

Gestures did in class.

Final Project

 (work in progress)

A description of the game I based on is below but I'll explain a few terms here first.
The enemy(skeletons) have invaded the past and changed history.
The players are chosen as the saniwa sage to bring historical Japanese swords to life and defeat the enemies.

The reason why I chose this game was because of how much historical accuracy and depth it has put into for each sword. It makes the players learn more about history and appreciate it more than before.

I've incorporated 2 people , 1 as the player and the other is one of the swords in the game , defeating the skeleton enemy. The shrine is a symbolic element of Japanese history , religion and culture.  Lastly, the japanese pattern is added (as well as Japanese clothing) were used to bring an aesthetic sense of Eastern beauty.

Pproperly drew out the idea digitally before (attempt to) emulate the same result on traditional media.
So this is how I imagined it to look like on my A2 paper _(:''3/
Begin sketching with H pencil
Then use mostly 6B,7B and 8B to shade the enemy skulls
I forgot to mind the light source in the digital version so I adjusted and shaded the Shrine gate better (hopefully)
Finished the characters
Added the glowing particles and retouched some parts

Almost completed artwork.

It was night time when i took this picture so the picture may look darker than the actual artwork.

Retouched final version
